My favorite, recent, overheard in the car goes something like this:
"Mom, since pennies in your shoes give you good luck, is that, like, because of Abraham Lincoln? And does that work for everybody? Or do you have to use...initiative?"
Which (barely) trumped my recent favorite overheard on the phone:
"Mom. It's Oliver. Bad news. My Obama sticker fell off my bomber jacket!!!"
